A precinct that hosts events
Melrose Arch combines corporate offices with hotels, restaurants and event spaces, so a lot of its print is about hosting: launches, client dinners, breakfast briefings and functions. Offices in the precinct also need the usual corporate print, often on short notice.
- Hotels and venues: menus, event signage, name tags.
- Launches and media events: media walls, pull-ups and invitations.
- Restaurants and shops: A-frames, posters and promotions.
- Offices: presentations and business cards.
M1 between Rivonia and Melrose
Melrose sits next to the M1, which makes the trip to and from our shop at Shop L23, Rivonia Central, Oriental City Rivonia, Cnr Rivonia Blvd and 9th Ave, opposite NewsCafe Rivonia, straightforward: the M1 links the area towards Sandton, and Rivonia Road runs north from Sandton to Rivonia. Overnight jobs are ready from 8:30 AM.
For deliveries into the precinct, a quoted courier works well. Give the building name, floor and a contact number, since precinct deliveries often go through a central point or reception.
Event timing
For a breakfast event, print collected at 8:30 AM is too late; order so that it is ready the day before. For an evening function, an overnight order approved and paid by 1:00 PM the previous day leaves the whole day for set-up. The Overnight tier adds 40% and is a priority attempt, so use it for last-minute changes rather than the whole event order.
Approved prices at the Standard tier include pull-up banners at R1,450 or R1,850 and table cloths (2700 x 1400mm) at R1,850. See the Event Printing Checklist.
