Common brochure formats
- A4 folded to A5 (bi-fold): four pages, good for menus, programmes and short company profiles.
- A4 tri-fold to DL: six panels, the classic rack brochure that fits a DL envelope.
- A3 folded to A4: four large pages for product sheets and property listings.

Getting the fold right
Folded artwork is the most common source of brochure delays. Panels on a tri-fold are not all the same width: the panel that folds inside is slightly narrower so it sits neatly. Use a template set up for the fold you are ordering, and remember that panel order on the printed sheet is not the reading order.
- Supply a two-page PDF: outside spread, then inside spread.
- Keep text away from fold lines.
- Add 3mm bleed around the whole sheet.
- Check the front cover lands on the correct panel.

Overnight timing and tiers
Folding adds a finishing step, so check that Overnight is offered for your chosen configuration. Where it is, approved artwork and cleared payment by 1:00 PM puts the job in that night's run, ready from 8:30 AM the next working day.
Available tiers: Economy (about 5 working days, 10% less), Standard (about 3 working days, listed price), Express (next working day, +20%), Same-day for eligible items (by 09:00, +30%) and Overnight for eligible items (by 1:00 PM, +40%). Overnight is a priority attempt; artwork, payment clearing and workload can affect it.
