Ordering and collection
Set the artwork to the exact poster size, add bleed if colour runs to the edge, and check images are sharp at that size. Order, upload and pay before 1:00 PM on a weekday for eligible overnight jobs. Posters are rolled for collection from Shop L23, Rivonia Central, Oriental City Rivonia, opposite NewsCafe Rivonia, or for quoted courier.
Getting a poster to look right
The most common poster problem is an image that looked sharp on screen but prints blurry at a large size. Before ordering, zoom your artwork to 100% at the final size; if it looks soft there, it will look soft on the wall. Vector logos and text stay crisp at any size, so use them wherever possible.
Think about where the poster will hang. A window poster facing the street needs a big, simple headline. A poster on a notice board can carry more detail because people stop to read it. For outdoor use or for posters that need to stand on their own, mount them on board from Rigid Boards.
If several posters are needed for one campaign, order them together so colours match and everything is ready at the same time. Collection in Rivonia from 8:30 AM gives retailers time to put posters up before opening.
