Invitation formats
- Flat cards: A6, A5 or DL, single- or double-sided.
- Folded cards: A5 folded to A6, with the details inside.
- Postcards: for save-the-dates; see postcard printing.
- Inserts: RSVP cards, maps or dress-code cards.
A5 colour prints at R1.90 per copy on standard paper. Card weights, finishes and other sizes show online or are quoted. See Wedding and Celebration.
What to include
- Host and occasion.
- Date, start time and end time if relevant.
- Venue name and full address, with a note on parking or access.
- RSVP details and date.
- Dress code, if any.
Double-check the date and day of the week together; a mismatch is a common error. For guests who will travel, consider including directions or a map insert.
If guests need to RSVP by a particular date for catering, put that date somewhere prominent rather than in small print at the bottom.
Personalised invitations
Invitations with each guest's name can be supplied as a multi-page PDF, one invitation per page. Alternatively, supply a template and guest list and our team can merge them at an extra cost. Allow time for merging before the 1:00 PM cutoff.
Timing and related stationery
Overnight: order, approved artwork and cleared payment by 1:00 PM on a weekday. If tomorrow is not the deadline, slower tiers cost less: Economy is about 5 working days at 10% less, Standard about 3 working days at the listed price, and Express next working day at +20%. Same-day (by 09:00, +30%) and Overnight (by 1:00 PM, +40%) apply to eligible items. Collect from Shop L23, Rivonia Central, opposite NewsCafe Rivonia.
