Inserts for your A-frame
A-frames take a poster on each side, either slotted behind a clear cover or mounted as rigid boards. The common sizes are A1 and A0, but sizes vary between frames, so measure the visible area of yours before ordering.
- Paper posters for frames with a protective cover.
- Correx or rigid boards for frames without a cover or for outdoor use; see correx board printing.
Sizes and materials show online, priced online or quoted. Browse Retail Promotions.
Who uses A-frames
- Restaurants and cafés for specials; see menu printing.
- Retailers announcing sales; see retail promotions.
- Estate agents for show days.
- Event organisers for directions and registration points; see event printing.
- Salons, clinics and service businesses showing opening hours or offers.
Designing for a pavement sign
- One headline, readable from a few metres away while walking.
- Large, bold type and high contrast.
- An arrow or direction if it is guiding people.
- Brand colours and logo so people link the sign to your shop.
- Different messages on each side if the sign faces two directions of foot traffic.
Timing
For tomorrow's promotion, the order, approved artwork and cleared payment need to be in by 1:00 PM. Tiers: Economy (about 5 working days, 10% less), Standard (about 3 working days, listed price), Express (next working day, +20%), Same-day for eligible items (by 09:00, +30%) and Overnight for eligible items (by 1:00 PM, +40%). Collect from 8:30 AM at Shop L23, Rivonia Central, Oriental City Rivonia, or arrange a quoted courier.
For regular promotions, keep a library of inserts and swap them as needed, ordering new ones on Standard or Economy. Use overnight only for unexpected changes.
Paper inserts behind a cover last longer if the cover is kept clean and the frame is brought in overnight. Faded or water-marked posters make a business look closed, so it is worth replacing them before they reach that point.
