Branding solutions

Your logo on clothing, gifts and promotional products โ€“ we recommend the best method for your item, quantity and budget.

DTF (direct to film)

Your design is printed in full colour onto a special film and heat-pressed onto the garment.

Best for: Detailed, multi-colour logos and photos on T-shirts, hoodies and bags โ€“ on light or dark fabric, cotton or polyester.

Great for small and medium runs: no screens to set up.

Screen printing

Ink is pushed through a fine mesh screen onto the item, one screen per colour.

Best for: Larger runs of simple 1โ€“4 colour logos on T-shirts, bags and umbrellas.

The most cost-effective method as quantities grow, and very hard-wearing.

Embroidery

Your logo is stitched into the fabric with thread.

Best for: Golf shirts, caps, jackets, fleece and corporate uniforms.

The most premium, long-lasting finish. Your logo is digitised once and reused on repeat orders.

Heat press & vinyl

Cut vinyl is transferred onto fabric with heat and pressure.

Best for: Names and numbers, small runs and simple one-colour designs.

Ideal for personalising each item, such as team kits.

Sublimation

Special inks turn into a gas under heat and bond into polyester or coated surfaces.

Best for: Full-colour, edge-to-edge prints on white or light polyester, mugs, mouse pads and lanyards.

Will not fade or crack, but does not work on cotton or dark fabric.

Pad printing

A silicone pad picks up the ink and presses it onto small or curved surfaces.

Best for: Pens, keyrings, bottles, stress balls and other promotional gifts.

Usually one or two colours; the most economical option for small hard items.

Laser engraving

A laser etches your logo permanently into the surface โ€“ no ink involved.

Best for: Stainless steel drinkware, metal pens, wood, bamboo, glass and leather.

A classy, permanent finish that cannot wear off.

UV printing

Full-colour UV-cured ink is printed directly onto the product.

Best for: Drinkware, tech gifts, notebooks and hard promotional items.

Photo-quality colour on hard surfaces, including gradients.

Stickers & labels

Printed vinyl or paper stickers, cut to any shape.

Best for: Packaging, product labels, laptop stickers, events and giveaways.

Choose matt or gloss, permanent or removable.

Doming

A clear, raised resin dome is applied over a printed sticker for a 3D look.

Best for: Badges, keyrings, nameplates, vehicle and equipment logos.

Durable, weather-resistant and eye-catching.

How branding works

  1. Choose your items in the shop or our corporate gifts range, and pick โ€œAdd my logoโ€.
  2. Upload your logo โ€“ a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) gives the sharpest result.
  3. We recommend the best branding method and send a proof with the branding price.
  4. Once you approve and pay, your order is branded and ready for collection in Rivonia or delivery.

Not sure which method?

Tell us the item, quantity and your logo, and we will recommend the best option. As a rule: embroidery for premium uniforms, DTF for detailed colour on small runs, screen printing for larger runs, and laser engraving or UV print for drinkware and hard gifts.
